Pre-employment Health Screening
A successful applicant will be required to complete a confidential health questionnaire to ensure
they are fit for the job role and help you comply with the Disability Discrimination Act.
This will include identifying employees exposed to particular health risks like noise, skin, respiratory.
- A baseline recording of an employee's health status can help reduce the risk of future litigation.
- Helps the employer meet obligation under current legislation e.g. Disability Discrimination Act,
Working Time Directive - night worker assessments etc relevant to your company needs.
- Most applicants will require a paper screen only, a small number of applicants will require a follow-up
or a consultation with a Specialist Nurse Practitioner.
- The company will be advised of the applicant's medical suitability for employment, with any recommendations,
limitations or adjustments required.
